Founded in 1995 Millers Preparatory Academy for Boys provides young men in the Metropolitian Atlanta area with an opportunity to develop leadership skills. The young men serve as role models for their peers and community and above all recieve a quality education in a positive environment.
An all boys Military Academy, Miller’s Preparatory Academy for Boys has proven to be the second chance and strength that numerous young men need in order to reestablish hope in their lives.

Lieutenant Miller was born the third of six children to Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Miller Jr. of Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is married to the former Frances J. Anderson of Wellford, South Carolina. They are blessed with five children: Falencia, Laneisha, Gabriel IV, and twins: Timothy and Titus.
Lieutenant Miller completed his elementary and high school education in the public school system of Spartanburg, South Carolina. He has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of South Carolina and a Master in Educational Studies from Emory University. Presently, he is pursuing a Master in Religious Education from Luther Rice Seminary School.
Lieutenant Miller taught at McNair Senior High School for fourteen years and Christine – Elizabeth Academy for two years. He held positions as Math Department Chairman and Varsity Wrestling Coach. He also coached gymnastics, baseball, and instructed judo. In addition to being the founder and Headmaster of Miller’s Preparatory Academy for Boys, he is also the founder and director of Miller’s Academic Summer Camp and Miller’s Tutoring Services. Lieutenant Miller is a math instructor at Morehouse College.
More importantly, Reverend Miller is the Pastor and Founder of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. But most of all, he is a child of God willing to learn and prepared to serve.
